PRO PRIME Windows Agent

Install & run

1. Download the ZIP and use Windows Extract All. Open the extracted PRO-PRIME-Agent folder, not the ZIP itself.
2. Install Python 3.11 or 3.12 (64-bit) with the Python launcher. Setup does not install Python for you.
3. Double-click INSTALL.cmd. It creates a private virtual environment and downloads dependencies and Playwright Chromium. Internet is needed; errors stay visible.
4. Double-click START.cmd. The native PRO PRIME window opens. Start listening manually, or type a command.
5. To use this website's Windows command links, double-click CONNECT-BROWSER.cmd once. It registers the per-user protocol; no administrator access is needed.

This is a runnable Python source package, not a prebuilt .exe. Setup and Windows/hardware tests cannot be run inside this web editor. The ZIP includes README, tests, scripts and all native modules, but no keys, recordings or virtual environment.

Authorized computer control

Choose Chrome, Opera or your default browser in native Settings. The app uses registered Windows tools, not arbitrary generated shell commands. Closing its window keeps it in the system tray; Quit stops it. Startup and high-risk typing stay opt-in.

Typing needs high-risk permission plus confirmation. Generic typing asks you to select the destination window. Existing “open calculator” and “open notepad” website shortcuts are unchanged; “open app …” launches their Windows versions.

These links work only after installation and registration. Windows asks for approval; this page cannot verify the outcome. Only approve requests you initiated. Other websites can also invoke the registered link, but cannot bypass the local review dialog.

AI & voice

Opening apps, searching and writing explicit text work without AI. Local conversation uses Ollama, installed separately. Whisper downloads its selected speech model on first use, and SAPI uses installed Windows voices. Hindi speech needs an installed Hindi voice.

The four keys in this website's Secrets panel stay on the server; they are never embedded in this ZIP or transferred to your laptop. The standalone agent uses Ollama or separately configured local provider credentials in its .env file. Web OpenAI failover applies to web answers.

Tests & removal

Run TEST.cmd for the supplied unit tests after installation. Native app launches, microphone capture and speech need manual checks on Windows. Test output is shown in the terminal; no passing result is assumed.

To remove: Quit the tray app, run scripts/unregister-browser-commands.ps1 if registered, disable startup in native Settings if enabled, then delete the extracted folder. Preferences and optional local memory remain under %LOCALAPPDATA%\ProPrime until you deliberately delete them.
